1. Osirion - Undead love'em or hate 'em...you just cant kill 'em!

Some back ground to our sessions, we meet each Wednesday in Sheffield, UK. we are 6+mnths into a Pathfinder campaign...

Clerics, fighters, more clerics, more fighters and a worrying wizard who wants to be undead, I think, there are only five players, but six characters.

The group has been together for sometime, and due to circumstances beyond our control we are in Osirion, currently in the capital city of Sothis.

We have just finished "visiting" the ruined mountain city of Tumen and the pyramid of Ahn’Selota.

The four Pharoahs are The Cerulean Pharoah (Anok Fero), The Fiend Pharoah (Hetshepsu), The Radiant Pharoah (Ankana) and The Pharoah of Numbers (True name unknown).

This primarily desert nation occupies the northeastern corner of the continent of Garund. It is bordered on the north by the Inner Sea and the east by the Obari Ocean. The capital city of Sothis is located at the mouth of the River Sphinx, and is the largest, and most prosperous city in the kingdom of Osirion. The city is built around the molted husk of Ulunat, a colossal beetle that was one of the spawn of Rovagug.

Sothis is built a dozen miles from the River Sphinx in the eastern deserts of Osirion, and was largely dependent on oases for water until the construction of the Crimson Canal, which allows the shipping directly into central Sothis and the devotion of the River Sphinx to agriculture.

Sothis began as a series of tribal settlements around the husk of Ulunat, which became the Black Dome, due to the natural springs and the shell's shelter from the khamsin (desert) winds. Since multiple locks branch away from the main canal and traffic is observed and regulated from the canal's only island, the Eye of Sothis, there is less congestion than is common in other major ports.

Sothis's skyline is dominated by the massive Black Dome, which houses the Palace of the Forthbringer (the Pharoah) and the Council of Sun and Sky (religious advisors). Malhitu Bazaar takes up much of the southeastern sector. The Necropolis of the Faithful is situated on the western bank of the Crimson Canal, expanding out from the original grounds of Pharasma's temple ("The Lady of Graves", Pharasma, (pronounced fah-RAZ-mah) is the goddess who shepherds Golarion's recently-departed souls to their final reward). There is a Pathfinder lodge in the city.
